I hear a voice just like a shepherd calling me back home,
Singing songs of love

Why do I ever walk away?
Why do I wander and I stray from a love that’s willing to lay His life down
For me, unworthy me?

Whenever I fall away from God,
I find myself stuck in a mire and I begin to see
Just how deep my misery
But when I turn and come back home,
I see the Father standing there with His arms open wide
He runs to draw me to His side.

I’m unworthy, so unworthy, but that’s the beauty of His mercy.
