I wrote this in my head while having coffee with a prostitute in a cafe in Oslo, Norway. Then I got up and sang it for her. Then, almost 20 years later it became the finale song in my musical about a 3rd Century Martyr that I was named after.
lyrics
DO YOU KNOW
Do you know that Jesus loves you? O, He loves you.
Do you know He’ll never reject you ?
He’ll give you beauty for ashes.
He’ll give you joy for your pain.
Do you know He died just to be with you and He’d do it all over again.
So believe His love and receive His love.
Accept His love, don’t reject His love.
He gave His live just to save you life and He’d do it all over again.
