Am I a peacemaker who’s willing to be torn apart?
When will I see the kingdom of heaven?
When will I be filled?
Jesus, it’s so hard to obey and to walk in Your way.
Jesus, You’re the vine and I’m the branch, will You help me understand?
Am I patient? Am I kind? Do I envy? Am I filled up with pride?
Am I rude? Am I selfish? A I angry, filled with bitterness?
When will I know perfection in love?
When will I see clearly?
Jesus, it’s so hard to obey and to walk in Your way.
Jesus, You’re the vine and I’m the branch, will You help me understand?
High or low, I will go there with You.
I shall have no other gods
I shall make no idol thing
I’ll not take Your name in vain
I shall keep the Sabbath clean
I shall honor my family
I’ll not hate or lust or lie
I’ll not cover to steal the things that are not mine
You’re perfect Law, it fills me with life.
Your Word is my delight.
But Jesus, it’s so hard to obey and to walk in Your way.

REIGN
I was there, I saw them swear and spit out His name

I was there when they put the crown of thorns on His head

When they pushed him up that hill called Calveray…that was for me

I was there when they challenged Him to set Himself free

When He breathed His last and died there on that tree…that was for me
And darkness reigned. Thunder shook the earth, the curtain tore away.
Because of all my sin, Jesus was betrayed. It reigned.
I was there, I saw the empty tomp open wide
I was there, I touched His hands and felt His wounded side.
I was there when He said to tell the news to everyone:
that Christ the Messiah has come
He was taken up to heaven and I saw Him sitting next to God
And Jesus reigns. He set the captives free, He’s broken every chain.
He’s seated on the throne, full of majesty
Worthy of all praise, He is Prince of Peace
Jesus reign. Come and reign.
In our hearts, in our homes, in Your church, in this world!
